Dear Parents/Guardians,
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being part of our Fairmount School Community. We know that giving our students enriching opportunities to achieve academic excellence is a team effort. We appreciate and encourage the many ways you are involved with your children at home: reading with them, helping with homework, encouraging them to stay after school for the many enrichment and academic opportunities offered by the school, signing their agendas, communicating with teachers and school staff, getting your child to school every day on time, making sure they have a good breakfast, and all of the other countless ways that you are involved in your child’s education.
We would also like to thank the many adults who have trained to be volunteers at Fairmount School. Giving your time and energy to our students pays off in many ways. There will be two more training sessions for those of you interested in volunteering. Next week during conferences we will offer trainings. On Monday, November 19, we will have a volunteer training at 8:15 and on Tuesday, November 20, we will have a volunteer training at 11:30.
Just a reminder there will be no school for students next week. On Monday we will have parent-teacher conferences from 8:00-3:00 and 4:30-7:30 and on Tuesday we will have them from 8:00-11:30. Please remember that we are a scent free school, be sure not to wear perfume or cologne when you come to conferences or to volunteer.
Sincerely,
Kristin Tlili Ryan Enman
