✨ Time Travel Week took our students back to the GOLD RUSH days!
Students made sourdough starter from scratch 🍞
They participated in a lasso challenge 🤠
They panned for gold like real prospectors 🏞️
AND they traveled back in time with Cole's Transportation Museum! 🚂

Fairmount School's 21st Century Program launched "summer fun" into orbit! 🚀✨
Sarah Raymond from the Challenger Center made sure our students had a blast with a space-themed week! 👩🚀

Our young astronauts embarked on a mission at the Challenger Center and they dove into some hands-on STEM activities in the Maine Mobile BIOLAB!

Smoke & Steel went ABOVE AND BEYOND. They did more than just show our students how to make a meal; they let them unleash their inner chef right in the heart of the action.

FIELD TRIP REMINDER! Monday, May 13th, the 4th Grade class is taking a field trip to see the Bangor Symphony Orchestra. The bus will leave Fairmount School at 9:15am and return around 11:30am.
The Bangor School Department IT staff will be conducting important network maintenance work today, starting at 4:30 PM. This maintenance is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our network equipment.
During the maintenance window, we will experience disruptions to the phone system and delays in email services. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that our IT team will work diligently to minimize the impact and complete the maintenance as quickly as possible.

As we approach the end of the academic year, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all our students for their hard work, dedication, and resilience throughout the year. We also extend our gratitude to the parents and guardians for their continued support and collaboration, which has greatly contributed to the success of our students.
