Recently recognized for their outstanding programming and student engagement, this group of young leaders continues to make a difference in our school community.
They used some of their profits to provide all students with a token of encouragement before NWEAs—what a thoughtful way to support their peers!
They also took the initiative to stock our Care Closet with student snacks, ensuring everyone has what they need.

Construction work will continue on the Interstate 95 bridge today. Broadway traffic is reduced to one lane southbound. The lane closure will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Afternoon buses may be delayed due to traffic congestion.

All Bangor Schools are closed November 11, 2024, in observation of Veterans Day.
Veterans Day (originally known as Armistice Day) is a federal holiday in the United States observed annually on November 11, for honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces. It coincides with other holidays, including Armistice Day and Remembrance Day which are celebrated in other countries that mark the anniversary of the end of World War I. Major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, when the Armistice with Germany went into effect. At the urging of major U.S. veteran organizations, Armistice Day was renamed Veterans Day in 1954.
Effective Tuesday, November 12th, Students who ride bus E to Fairmount and 14th St Schools will now ride Bus H. Bus Q Fairmount students will now ride Bus E. Fairmount Y and Parks and Rec students will ride Bus G-2 for am and pm. Please see the attached Cyr Bus letter and check student backpacks.
